Tulo turned 2 months as of November 20th!

Tulo turned 2 months on Saturday, and he is growing quickly!  I haven't had much time to write updates, as he keeps me on my toes a lot, and likes to run around like a wild child (but he is the cutest wild child I have ever seen!).  He is AWESOME, and keeps getting more awesome by the day.  He goes into his crate at night with no problem, and doesn't whine at all through the entire night.  He goes to bed at around 10:30 and wakes us up at about 6:15 every morning.  Not too bad, and he is really starting to make us morning people, which I have to admit, I kinda like that!  Once you let him out to go to the bathroom though it is game on!  You can try to put him back into his crate to get 15 more minutes of sleep, but he does not like that one bit!  It is as though he knows it is morning, and he knows that means play time.

Tulo is growing rather quickly, which we knew he was going to do.  I forget if Tulo mentioned to you in the last post, but he initially weighed 4.1 lbs when we took him to his 1st vet visit, and on Thursday he weighed 6.5 lbs.  I am figuring he probably has put on 2 more lbs since Thursday.  He is one happy, healthy puppy though :)

Tulo now knows how to sit and shake, and his favorite toys are the frog, Mr. Foxy, and his bully stick.  We are still trying to get him to fetch his lil tennis ball we got him, but as of now he isn't showing much of an interest right now.

Tomorrow I am heading back to work, and although I am very thankful to be going back and making that money, I will be missing that lil guy very much.  It does help knowing though that my hubby will be here with him, and giving him tons of love!

We are excited to have Tulo with us for his 1st Thanksgiving, and excited to be hosting Thanksgiving over at our new home with Tulo right by our side!  I have been wondering what tasty treat I should get Tulo for Thanksgiving...if anyone out there has any ideas please let me know, as I would like to spoil him a bit on that day re a nice tasty treat or two.  I do have to warn though that we are still transferring over to the food we will be feeding him on a regular basis, and his stools are still pretty runny...so that might limit us on what we should get him for Thanksgiving.

Anyways, here are a few pics from this past week, and some silly ones of my husband who decided it would be smart to crawl into Tulo's playpen while I was around (I locked him in there and he couldn't un-zip himself from the inside..hehe!)

Hi Hi Hi!

I am soooo hyper this morning!!!  I just woke up, and am hanging with mommy and daddy right now, and I have a lot of energy today.  I just can't stop running around, and I think if I could go outside into the real world I would run a marathon.  I have that much energy!  Mommy and daddy keep telling me how proud they are of me because I let them sleep all night, minus 1 wake up call, but that was it!  I also know now that when they put me into bed at night it means nighty-night time, and I don't cry but chew on a bone and go to sleep.  I was so tired last night, that I slept for 5 hours before waking up to go potty, can you believe that!?!  I didn't even know I could hold it that long.  I am also starting to get the hang of scratching at the door to come back inside too (daddy taught me that trick!).

Be right back, breakfast time!

Ok, I am back, and today I finished all my food!!!  I tend to never finish my 1/2 a cup of food they give me, but today I was hungry and ate it up in 4 minutes!  It was YUMMY!!!!

I am going to have more visitors come over today.  Mommy says Aunt Jen is coming over with her baby puppy, Bella.  Bella is 6 months old, and mommy says a lot bigger then me.  I will post pictures later today of our play date!  I am really excited about that. (pictures are below of the playdate)

Below are some pictures from yesterday, mommy went to go get me some small kong tennis balls yesterday, as the balls they got me to play with are too big for me to carry around.

I smell Beggin' Strips...gotta go!!!!

Me with my new ball!  I fetched it a few times and dropped it for mommy.

Greeting from Tulo!

Hi there!  Mommy and daddy gave me permission (are they crazy!?!) today to blog our adventures over the weekend.  Bet ya never knew a Golden Retriever could type could ya?  Well not all of them can, but I am SOOOO SMART that I can, and I am glad I can help mom and dad out with something.

Anyways, I guess I should start where they left off on the last post, the 1st night home was a lot of fun, and i really started feeling more comfortable, until mommy and daddy had to place me in the crate for the night,I really missed my mom and my brothers and sisters that night, and I cried about 10 minutes but then went to sleep, as it was a pretty eventful day and mommy and daddy wore me out!  Oh, I almost forgot, I also met Aunt Tina today, and she couldn't stop playing with me, and I heard her call me adorable quite a bit (is it me or do humans just love using the word adorable when playing with me?)  I really liked Aunt Tina and I hope she comes around more often, which my mommy reassured me she would!

Day 2 -- so much fun, and I really started feeling a lot more comfortable.  I did have a few accidents that day inside the house, but I feel like I am really starting to learn to go to the back door when needing to go to the bathroom...but I am sorta quick with my hints and if you don't catch me at the back door quick enough I could do a "no no" as mommy likes to say it.

My daddy and I had a few great play sessions today, and he is a lot of fun to wrestle around with, I can't wait to get bigger so I can REALLY start wrestling with him, he is the coolest and best daddy ever!

My brother, Jaxson, is starting to come around a little, although I think it will be a few more days till he really starts hanging out with me.  I hope he does anyway, because he seems pretty cool, and I would love for him to be part of my wolf pack :)

Today mommy introduced me to a beast that they call "Vaccum".  I didn't it be very beastly though, mom had me come up and sniff it, and then she had daddy be near me when she started it up, and I really didn't see what the big fuss was about.  Yes, it was a little bit loud, but I wasn't scared of it, and really wasn't that impressed as I found it to be more productive to play with a toy while mommy was moving "Vaccum" around the house (but I do have to admit, I did keep an eye out on where she was taking Vaccum, but only out of shear curiosity).

Bedtime was about the same, although I did sleep for a bit longer before needing potty breaks.  I guess my bedroom isn't all that bad.  I had go to the bathroom about 4 times that night, but other then that slept like a baby!

Day 3 -- Today I met my real Aunt and Uncle's, and also my cousins!  They were AWESOME!  This morning mommy was carrying me around while taking out "clothes from the dryer, and putting them away" or so that is what she said we were doing.  Anyways, I patiently waited in her arms as I let her put away the laundry, and we headed downstairs, and mommy noticed she missed a call from her sister, so she called her back, and I heard mommy say "Tulo and I are so excited to see you!", so when she said that I was sure whoever was coming over I was going to LOVE.  And boy was she right!  Aunt Amber, and Uncle Adam couldn't stop playing with me, and I really won Amber over, as I overheard her say that she never really liked dogs but that she loved me, and wanted to even steal me (which is very flattering, but I hope she just comes over A LOT more rather then steal me because I am really liking where I am right now).  Uncle Adam showed me how to do a UFC move too with my toy fox that I like to wrestle with (I think he said the move was called an arm bar, or a choke hold, or something like that), but I guess I was doing it right because Adam kept saying "see, he did it again!"

While daddy was at work today I decided I would write him a sweet message on paper and let him know I was missing him, mommy took a picture of me with the sign and sent it to daddy, and she said he loved it!  I hope he knows how special he is to me, and how happy he makes my mommy :)

Jaxson is hanging out in the same room with me more often, and we actually were laying only a few feet away from another, and it was quite nice.  I hope one day we can cuddle together, as I am a big cuddlier, and mommy and daddy say Jaxson is too!  How great would things be then!!!  He is gonna love me, I can just tell!

Aunt Kristy, Uncle Matt, and my cousins, Kaitlyn, Taylor, and Trevor came to visit me last night!!!  I loved them a lot, but I really loved hanging out with the little girls, and Trevor!  They were so much fun to play with, and a little closer to my size, but still bigger then me.  Mommy and daddy told me when coming home from dinner with them that Kaitlyn and Taylor will be coming over for a sleep over, and I can't wait...boy o boy is it going to be FUN!!!!

Bedtime was about the same.

Day 4 -- We are into day 4 today (wait, day 4, already!?!  How time flies!) and daddy played with me for awhile this morning before heading to the gym, and mommy played with me when she woke up.  This morning when mommy had to do the laundry and get ready for some errands, she put me in my crate and I cried and cried, but then realized I was tired and would take a quick nap, and once I was done with the nap I was back out of my bed, and playing with mommy again.

I am getting a lot better with going in my bed though, as just 20 minutes ago mommy put me in my crate and I went right in and didn't even cry, but instead laid down, and rested.  I think I am noticing a pattern though, if I am quiet while in my bed, when mommy or daddy are downstairs they let me out quicker.  If I cry though they wait till I am quiet for a few minutes, then let me go.

Anyways, it is 11:49AM right now, and my day is just getting started.  I will try and see if my mommy will let me post to you all,  as I wouldn't mind helping mommy out as I know she has her hands full, and anything I can do to help I will do.

I love my parents so much, and I just know Jaxson will be cuddling with me in no time, I mean I AM adorable, get with it Jaxson!  Arf Arf.

Below are some more pictures!
